THE WEST AFRICAN EXAMINATIONS COUNCIL NEW DEVELEOPMENT ABOUT RESULT CHECKER PIN

Dear Sir/Madam,

WASSCE FOR SCHOOL CANDIDATES, 2026:

CANDIDATES’ RESULT CHECKER PINs

We bring you warm compliments from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), Nigeria.

As part of the consistent innovations while providing world class educational assessment, the Council is working towards a transition from candidates’ electronic attendance using smart card (candidate’s

identity card) to a biometrics attendance mode. Consequently, the smart card which also contains candidates’ Result Checker PINs will not be available for the ongoing WASSCE for School Candidates, 2026.

However, adequate provision has been made for candidates to access their Result Checker PINs in order to seamlessly check their results upon release. Therefore, kindly inform your candidates to visit: serial-pin.waec.org online, and input their examination details to access the Result Checker PIN.

We appreciate your continued dedication to educational excellence and look forward to your cooperation in ensuring the successful conduct of this examination.

Please accept the assurances of our highest esteem.

Yours faithfully,

S.D. KUM
