JUPEB means Joint University Preliminary Examinations Board, and IJMB means Interim Joint Matriculation Board, while IJMBE is the “Examniation” itself. JUPEB and IJMB are Advanced-Level (A-Level) Course, which you take for 9 months, after which you take a final exam that gives you a certificate. This certificate can then be used to apply for 200 Level Admission into UNILAG, ABU, UNILORIN, UNIPORT, LASU, FUOYE, UNIABUJA, UNN, UNIZIK and other Universities in Nigeria.
Entering the University using JUPEB or IJMB totally eliminates the use of JAMB, the result does not expire because it is a certificate. JUPEB or IJMB is even better than most polytechnics because it is a 9 months programme. You no longer need to spend 2 years in Polytechnic before applying into the university.JUPEB or IJMB is also better than taking pre-degree in the University, where you also gain admission into 200 Level. This is because JUPEB or IJMB is cheaper and also gives you access to other Universities locally and abroad. Predegree on the other hand only gives you admission in that same university you took the course. Instead of going for Pre-degree, go for JUPEB or IJMB.
Once you buy your JUPEB or IJMB Registration Form, you can start your 9 months of lectures (just like 100 Level) in professional schools, with accommodation nationwide.
JUPEB or IJMB Fees: The JUPEB or IJMB Fees are much cheaper in the long run, considering that you will no longer need to buy JAMB form or pay for JAMB result slip. You will also be skipping 100 Level in the University, to go into 200 Level.
