Jamb Released 279 Withheld Results For 2026 Jamb (Utme)

According to the report, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board announced the release of 279 additional results that were previously withheld for investigation in the 2026 UTME process.

According to the Board, the decision came after reviewing cases linked to suspected examination malpractice. Candidates whose cases showed no prima facie evidence of wrongdoing had their results released, while results tied to confirmed malpractice were cancelled.

JAMB also explained that investigations are still ongoing for some examination centres where its monitoring teams reportedly detected suspicious activities or received adverse reports. Results connected to those centres will remain withheld until the investigations are concluded. If candidates or centres are eventually found culpable, the affected results will be cancelled.

This development adds to the batch of UTME results already released earlier by the examination body and is part of JAMB’s broader effort to protect the integrity of the examination process.
