FUPRE Matriculation Date And Notice To New Students 2016/2017

This is to inform all fresh Students, Parents, and Staff that the 10th Matriculation ceremony(2016/2017 academic session) of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun has been scheduled for Wednesday, 22nd February, 2017 at the University Sports Complex by 10.00 a.m. prompt. Matriculating students should be seated at 9.30am.

Students should collect Academic Gowns from the Academic Office with effect from Wednesday 15th February, 2017 between 12.00noon and 3.00p.m. on payment of the sum of One Thousand Naira only (N1,000.00) to the University Account via www.remita.net. and presentation of receipt generated to the Academic Division.

All academic gowns should be returned to the Academic Division immediately after the Matriculation Ceremony but not later than Monday 27th February, 2017. Thereafter, late return of academic gowns will attract a penalty fee of One Thousand Naira (N1,000.00) for each additional day while the sum of Ten Thousand Naira will be charged for the replacement of any lost academic gown.

Participation in the matriculation exercise is compulsory for all duly registered fresh students of the University.

Consequently,fresh 100level and 200level Direct Entry Students who have not registered with the Health Centre are advised to proceed immediately to the Health Services Department for Medical Screening
Exercise. Please note that Medical Screening is an integral part of the Registration exercise. Only students who have gone through the medical screening exercise will be allowed to participate in the Matriculation Ceremony.
