City get Steaua Bucharest in Champions League playoff

Manchester City were on Friday drawn against Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League play-off round to be played over two legs in August.
The draws were made at UEFA’s Nyon headquarters.
Pep Guardiola’s side will start with a trip away to Romania on the 16 or 17 August before hosting the 1985-86 European Cup winners in Manchester on the 23 or 24 August.
Guardiola is hoping to better last season’s run to the semi-finals of the competition under Manuel Pellegrini.
Italian side Roma will try to grab a place at this year’s European prestigious competition ahead of FC Porto of Portugal while Netherland’s Ajax face Russia-based FC Rostov.
