Summit University, Offa, Kwara State, Nigeria (SUNO) invites all UTME/DE candidates who are

interested in the 2022/2023 admission into the University to visit www.summituniversity.edu.ng to apply online. Prospective candidates should note the following

 

REQUIREMENTS

 UTME CANDIDATES

1. Five (5) Credits at SSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB or approved equivalent in at least which must include English Language and Mathematics and any other three subjects as may be specified by each Department/Programme. 5 credits should be obtained in not more than two sittings.

2. Candidates awaiting results may apply.

3. All UTME candidates are required to obtain the minimum cut-off mark for the admission year. The Cut-off mark for 2022/2023 admission exercise is 140.

4. Candidates are required to choose Summit University, Offa as their first choice or change their first choice institution to Summit University, Offa on JAMB portal

5. They are to visit www.summituniversity.edu.ng to pay Processing Fee and fill Online Application Form before they can qualify for the Screening exercise. (See Payment Schedule below)

6. All applicants are required to go through the Summit University’s Post UTME Screening Exercise. (See Payment Schedule below)

7. Post UTME Screening on candidates is done on daily basis

8. Candidates are to come to the University with copies of the following documents and writing materials for Post UTME Screening:

i. O’ Level Result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) to be Used for Admission

ii. JAMB Notification of Result/Print-out

iii. JAMB Change of Institution Form

iv. Confirmation of Application on Summit University, Offa Portal

v. Photocopy of Birth Certificate or Statutory declaration of Age

vi. Scratch Card for verification of O’ Level Results

vii. 5 Recent Passport photographs

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES

Direct Entry (Admission to 200 Level)

1. Credits at SSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB or approved equivalent in at least 5 subjects which must include English Language and Mathematics and any other three subjects as may be specified by each Department/Programme

2. Plus any of the following:

i. OND or approved equivalents in relevant field with a minimum of Lower Credit

ii. A minimum of two Passes in relevant subjects in recognized Advanced Level Subjects. Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) and Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) or equivalents are acceptance.

3. Satisfactory performance at Screening interview conducted by the University.

4. Candidates are to come to the University with copies of the following documents and writing materials for the Screening Exercise:

i. O’ Level Result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) to be Used for Admission

ii. JAMB DE Registration Form

iii. JAMB Change of Institution Form (If Summit was not chosen initially as First Choice)

iv. Confirmation of Application on Summit University, Offa Portal

v. Evidence of Payment for DE Screening Test

vi. Photocopy of Birth Certificate or Statutory declaration of Age

vii.NIN Slip

viii. Scratch Card for verification of O’ Level Results

ix. 5 Recent Passport photographs

x. 2 Reference Letters addressed to the Registrar, Summit University, Offa
