This is to notify the general public that the 2023 applications form (POST UTME) for PAMO University of Medical Sciences are now on sale. Interested candidates are to apply online. Below are the requirements and method for registration;

Admission Requirements

1. UTME CANDIDATES
   1. Candidates are required to have sat for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and chosen PUMS as their first choice.
   2. Candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at SSCE (or equivalent) in relevant subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language and Mathematics) at not more than two (2) sittings and must have scored 190 and above in the 2023 UTME subjects.
   3. For the MBBS program, Candidates must have the relevant subjects (as in 2 above) and scored 220 and above in UTME.
   4. Candidates must upload their O’level results on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS)
      
2. ELIGIBILITY
   1. Candidates who sat for the 2023 JAMB UTME and made PUMS their 1^st  choice.
   2. Candidates who wish to study in PUMS but did not make PUMS their first choice are required to apply for CHANGE OF INSTITUTION to PUMS as first choice through JAMB Portal to qualify for the Screening Exercise.
   3. Candidates awaiting SSCE result(s) or its equivalent are also eligible to apply for admission provided the result(s) will be uploaded on PUMS Portal, at least two days before the date of the Screening Exercise.
3. INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS

Candidates are advised to adhere strictly to JAMB approved provisions for admission into Nigerian universities

Method of Application

• • • 1. Log on to the University Website, http://www.pums.edu.ng/
      2. Click on Apply Now on the top centre of the page.
      3. Enter your JAMB number and click on the “Check Eligibility”. You will be redirected to the application form if your JAMB number was successfully verified.
      4. Application Form: While on this page, provide all required information and be sure they are correct, before proceeding. Once submitted, you will be logged onto the PUMS Portal automatically, complete application by uploading supporting documents.
      5. Supporting Documents: In the course of your application, a few documents will be needed to verify the authenticity of provided information. See list below. Scan the original copy of each and upload to the portal.

      • O’Level Result (WAEC and/or NECO)
      • Birth Certificate/Age Affidavit
      • Local Government of Origin
      • Letter of Attestation/Reference

Method of Payment

1. Click on “Make Payment”
2. Copy the Bank Account no. and make a transfer or direct bank deposit of N2,000 only
3. Upload evidence of payment.
4. Upon successful payment and upload of the evidence, you will then make final submission of your application and print the clearance form.
